There are many monuments that remind us of the VOC period and there are several museums in the city that you can visit to discover this history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of those museums is the Zuiderzee Museum. This museum, which has both an indoor and an outdoor section, shows the history of the Zuiderzee and everything that comes with it. Or visit the Bottle Ship Museum for a unique experience.
